Miyuki Beads

MIYUKI beads are made out of glass, and are considered a "world standard" for their high quality, brilliance, and uniform shape. They are highly sought after by fashion designers and artists.

About 60 years ago, Seiichi Katsuoka first came across some glass seed beads and instantly became fascinated by their brilliance and beauty, so in 1949, he dedicated himself to learning the art of glass seed bead making. Seiichi's passion for making beautiful, high quality glass seed beads was passed down to his son, Hiroshi. Hiroshi added innovation to passion and began creating new types and styles of beads. This resulted in the founding of our company; Japan's first successful mass-producing bead manufacturing company.

Seed beads

Miyuki Delica Beads are cylinder shaped Japanese glass seed beads. Delica beads were first
created by Miyuki in 1982.

Delicas are preferred for peyote stitch, brick stitch, and weaving on
looms because their cylinder shape gives the finished piece a flat
surface which maximizes any design or pattern.

Clasps

Choosing the clasp of your bracelet is almost as important as the bracelet itself. After performing many tests ourselves with the bracelets, we offer 3 types of clasps that we trust:

  • Flat
  • With adjustable string
  • Round

All bracelet can be adapted to any of these 3 clasps.

  • Flat clasp

    Elegant and simple, this clap will match any type of look. You can slide it in and it will never leave your wrist.

    However, make sure you select the right size for your bracelet as with this clasp, the length cannot be adjusted.

    Type: non adjustable

    Colours: gold, silver

  • Clasp with adjustable string

    This clasp allows you to wear your bracelet tight, or slightly loose.

    Type: adjustable

    Colours: gold, silver

  • Flower clasp

    Slightly larger than the others, this clasp goes especially will with the Bayonne bracelet.

    Choose the exact right size for you to make sure it snuggles your wrist as you like.
